In Game 7, the Saints eliminated the Oranges 6-2 to advance to the championship game against the Florida Legends. The Saints were winning 2-0 before a grand slam extended their lead to 6-0. The Oranges scored 2 late in the game.
In that game, the Saints started things off in the top of the 1st by taking a 1-0 lead. The Legends, however, quickly responded with 4 runs in the bottom of the inning before rain in the top of the 2nd suspended play. After about an hour, the rain let up and for the next hour and fifteen minutes the entire Legends team worked tirelessly to make the field playable again. Only after the field was restored to good playing condition did the Saints opt to forfeit the game for travel reasons.
The North Florida Legends are your 2010 SECBL champions!
